In a blink of an eye, my final day of my trip arrived. After breakfast, we packed out things, got on the boat, got on the bus (yes by bus, since there were no flights) and here I am, updating, blog. It took like 10 hours in total. I wished we could have travelled by flight. T.T
Day 2 Was waken up by a morning call, and I went to have breakfast after washing up. There was a snorkeling trip at nine-thirty in the morning, so my dad and I went to rent some snorkel equipment. Before the trip starts, we were required to walk to the jeti. From there, we will be transported by boat to another island (I think).
Once I reached there, I was quite a few people snorkeling. Of course, I joined in the fun soon after. The fishes can already be seen although I haven't started to go to the deep part of the sea. From there on, I saw lots of corals. Dead corals, living corals. Just lots of them. Some fishes were hiding in it. One thing about the fishes is that they aren't afraid of humans. Getting used to us I think?
Goin farther again, some dudes from the hotel pulled me and said they were taking photos. I agreed of course. They pushed me down towards the abyss(I was wearing life jackets), towards the corals and took a total of two pictures. I'll post them later, if I have time.
We got back to the reasort after we had have enough snorkeling. I played pool with my relatives (again!). It was really addicting, I must say.
Evening was great. Went to the beach to fly a kite I brought. Also, I got to play volleyball with some dudes from another country. ( forgot to ask them where they're from though). They're pretty good. Two hotties joined in the game afterwards. haha.
At night, I wanted to go karaoke-ing, but was to tired to do so, so I slept.
Day 1 I went on a trip to Redang Island on Saturday, which was the first day of my holidays. I was boarding an 8.40am flight, so my family and I reached the Kuala Lumpur International Airport at about 7.00am. I went to KLIA before but never had a good look at it. The airport is HUGE. Thing is, a cup of coffee costed like RM 8, which is heartbreaking =( lol. There was also a nicely decorated stall whichi sold chocolate of all kinds. Cadbury, Kit-kat, M&Ms and some imported ones.
The plane reached the Terengganu aiport at 9.40. Comparing to KLIA, that airport was like a badly built chicken's den. The bus of the resort picked us up to the jeti, which we then had a one-hour-ride to Redang Island. Redand Island is an island on the east coast of Malaysia, and is also the setting for the movie "Summer Holiday" (夏日的么么茶). I got to see the house the characters live in. The purple/ pink one.
We had lunch when we got there, then I played pool with my bro. Actually I wanted to surf the net but it was RM 10 per hour so I guess not...XD
Went to the beach, jumped into the jacuzzi of the swimming pool of the island in the evening. There was a bar by the pool and it served some nice "Ice Kacang". Yum...
As some of you might know, I am a guy who uses photoshop. Well I'm not a pro photoshopper, you can own me single handedly if you were one. I've designed a few avatars, or better known as display pictures, since I started. They were mainly used in msn or in forums. My initial "N" is featured on all of them. And now, I'm gonna show you my so called "masterpieces". =p
(The pictures, from left to right, that means the "glowing" pic is 1, silver 2.. circles 8) 1- This is the very first picture I made, did it december last year, and I used it for a very long time. See the glowing spikes at the background of it? I loved that effect. Learnt it from a tutorial, but I forgot how to do it now.. haha.
2- A silver metallic puddle with an embossed "N" on it. I got this idea from chemistry. In chinese, mercury is called "Silver water"(er.. it's a really bad translation), and I made some "silver water" rightaway. You can see the "N" making some sort of "ripples" on the surface.
3- The rainbow. Made in July 2006(or June?) I think. Used some gradients and achieved this special effect with ease. The text is just simple but outlined.
4- A darker version of the rainbow. I just added another layer on top of it, played with the opacity and got this pic.
5- Ehehe. I don't know what I'm drawing in this picture. Messed around with the filter, swirling everything in sight, rippling the text, and then glowed the edges of the picture. My bro says it looks cool, but I think it's kinda funny... hehe
6- My very first grunge artwork. I always see grunge-styled siggys at forums, and always wanted to do some grunge, but I didn't know how. Only recently I knew that you need some grunge brushes to do it lol. The font is special. It's called "trasylvania".
7- Similar to 6, only I subtracted a few layers from the original grunge N and it seemed to turn out great!
8- From past to present. I made this today. In the picture, you can see semi-transparent circles overlapping each other to produce quite a nice effect. I got this idea from set theory. (well kinda). Sets that are somewhat related overlap each other. So I decreased the opacity of the circles, and it overlapped with some pretty colours! =)
As for the background, I did it from a tutorial. I would like to give credit to the author of it. Also, I even made a pen insert from this particular background. People said it was nice... haha.
Wow, this is a pretty long post. I'm still making more avatars at the moment, and looking for ideas too. Peace out.
And I found this. It's the English translation lol.

What can you do in 6 minutes? Not much, but I just made my 6 minutes seem like 30 minutes a few days ago.
I broke the guinness world record by reaching my house in 6 minutes time. And if you're from my school, you'll know how impossible that is, because it jams like hell just after school.
Sigh... One more week left until the trial examinations. One more week. How many 6 minutes are there in a week? Much? Just enough? Not much? Hmmm.. who knows? Time isn't counted in minutes or hours. It is counted by the how much work you have done. At least that's my opinion.
Just installed a new layout for my blog, thanks to my friend Ding for telling me the gecko site. I love the bubbles don't you? :p
"I am supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, honorificabilitudinitatibus and nice." I don't know the meaning of the front 2, so i'm nice. Get it?
Anyways what I typed here was typed out using the damn old on-screen keyboard. My faithful keyboard was confiscated. I miss my dear keyboard :( O well, at least I still have a mouse, which is in my hand at the very moment.
Bah... Had a few "diagnostic" tests during the week. And it was fun. Those questions could make me laugh, it could make anyone laugh. There was a question when it gave you a picture of an eye, and it asks you what is it. Lol...
According to google, the word "diagnostic" means this: A test or kit used to diagnose a disease or medical condition.
Hmm funny. Are we all having a disease?

I'm a guy. Unlike other mortals that dwell on Earth, I have got lots of better things to do than just posting at my blog. I know it's great, I know it's cool, I know I'm Nigel, and he's not you. ;P
